The Stakeholder Analysis Template provides helpful assistance when stakeholders must be found for a project. The matrix guides the user to which stakeholders would be most beneficial for the user to choose. Stakeholders that exhibit a high level of interest in the project as well as carrying a high influence would be the most desirable, while those that are only slightly interested and carry a low influence should not be chosen.

STAKEHOLDER ANALYSIS EXAMPLE
When you’re dealing with several stakeholders who are interested in a project or enterprise, it is always best to list your options and analyze which decision would be most profitable. The Stakeholder Analysis Grid provides a clean, efficient method of organizing and determining which stakeholders should be accepted, considered, convinced, or denied. It thrives on two principles: the amount of influence or power the stakeholder possesses, and the stakeholder’s level of interest in your project or enterprise. It is generally good for an individual to take interest in something they might become involved in, and for that person to have made a name for himself (have a high influence) in the area of interest. Here are the guidelines for four situations. The stakeholders with high influence and low interest are those that should be convinced to become involved. You should work to satisfy their needs and rectify any concerns. The stakeholders that are of a high influence as well as high interest are the first that you should invite to join your endeavor. You should not spend time worrying about stakeholders that are of a low influence and have a low level of interest. Lastly, the stakeholders that are of a low influence yet high interest should be considered. These may not be your first choice, but they could be somewhat valuable.
